Through her decades long nursing career, foundation work, and mentoring of young people, has dedicated her life to caring for, supporting, and empowering others she earned the name “AUNTIE.” The name reflects her vision of creating a warm, family-like residence where every person is treated with dignity, compassion, and genuine care.
Auntie Jess’s Care was started to create something different: a warm, family-like home where care is tailor-made to each resident’s needs, preferences, abilities, and life story—and where every person who enters our doors feels not like a resident, but like family.

Auntie Jess’s Care was born from a lifetime of nursing, compassion, and service. After 25 years as a Registered Nurse in Kenya, caring for people with different needs, Jacinta learned that true care goes beyond medicine—it is about dignity, love, listening, and treating every person as an individual.
Through her “Sangida” foundation in Kenya, years of caring for seniors and children with disabilities, helped her to develop a deep desire to create a home where people feel valued, respected, safe, genuinely have a voice in their care.
